Anne Armistead writes love stories, set in the past and present. She earned her English literature degree from the University of Georgia and her MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University. Anne is a member of the Atlanta Writers Club and the Historical Novel Society.
When she's not writing, she's reading, taking nature walks, and watching BBC television. She and her husband have two grown daughters and a bevy of dogs rescued by their extended family, her own being Jackpot (so name because she hit the jackpot when they found each other).
Anne has published a Southern Gothic historical paranormal romance DANGEROUS CONJURINGS (Soul Mate Publishing, April 2018) and a historical romance WITH KISSES FROM CÉCILE, co-authored with Jan Agnello (Storyology Design and Publication, September 2019). It was awarded the 2020 Georgia Independent Author of the Year Award in historical fiction and the Silver Award from Literary Titan. Her short, sweet contemporary romance, A CHRISTMAS CANNOLI KISS, will be published by The Wild Rose Press.
Anne has recently signed with Magnolia Blossom for her historical romance THE CAROUSEL TIME TRAVELER, a two-part series set against the Paris 1900 Exhibition.
